What a treat! Such a clear explanation of how the mind, emotions, and body are connected—and how fascia stretching can help release stored trauma by resetting the signals flowing to and from the brain.
Paul I enjoyed this interview, Erica is very thorough and clear and I appreciated her knowledge of not just the body but how the mind connects to it especially with pain. I have this stubborn area of my back/hip that I’ve treated with strengthening, stretching, acupuncture which have all helped but still not quite there. I’ve considered doing myofascial work and now I’m sold, it may be the last piece of the puzzle!
Shiri, thank you for your note. I'm really glad that the interview helped, and I hope you find some relief for the pain you described. If you search the name of that group that Erica mentioned in our conversation, hopefully you find some FST practitioners near you.

Exactly what I need! Pure Jungian synchronicity that I saw this post when I did. Thanks!
I'm glad it was helpful. I didn't realize there was such a thing as "Jungian synchronicity," but I'm damned glad there is. What a great phrase!
